Shibuya Scramble Square building is being jointly developed by Tokyu Corporation, JR East, and Tokyo Metro, and grand opened on November 1, 2019. As one of the biggest Shibuya’s redevelopment projects, the second phase of this building is expected to be opened by 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

Complex \u00a0Commercial and Office Space<\/h2>\n

The B2 (second basement level) to 14th-floors are occupied by over 200 retail shops and restaurants. Shops feature food, fashion, lifestyle goods, as well as cafes and restaurants. Seven of them open their first branch in Japan, while 45 of the first start their business in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

From 2nd to 9th-floors, you can find all the brand cosmetic and fashion brands such as SK-II, YSL, TOMORROWLAND and Journal-Standard.<\/p>\n

There are also a wide variety of accessories, home d\u00e9cor, books, groceries, and electronics stores on 10th, 11th and 14th-floor. One of the latest events, “NHK x Shibuya” 8K resolution display project, put a lifestyle-related show on screen for all visitors.<\/p>\n

If all that shopping makes you hungry, do not worry. There are plenty of places to grab light bites and desserts from B2 to 1st floor, such as Mori Yoshida, Thierry Marx La Boulangerie and supermarket Food Show Edge. If you are looking for full meals, lots of international choices are available on 12th and 13th-floors.<\/p>\n

The 15th floor is home to Shibuya QWS, an industry exchange facility that brings a diverse range of 200 people together to create new social value.<\/p>\n

Shibuya Scramble Square has 73,000-sqm (785,000-sqft) of high-grade office space from the 17th to 45-floors, with a standard floor size of 2,900-sqm.<\/p>\n

Besides from the regular commercial structure, the elevator that goes directly from 14th to 45th floor, and the observation deck on 46th and the rooftop of the building which allows you to get a bird’s eye view of the famous Shibuya scramble crossing intersection.<\/p>\n
